Vamo V2 First Impressions (Gunmetal/Black Chrome finish)

So I received my Vamo in the mail from FastTech this past Friday. I have since used it exclusively the past couple of days and feel like I'm familiar enough with the device to provide a solid first impressions piece for the blog.

First off, kudos to FastTech! Total shipping time was 8 days from the day I ordered. That is unreal coming from Hong Kong. Couldn't have asked for better service. I also purchased a Protank in this order as well ($12 was a great deal on it, by the way!) and a couple of 18350 batteries to power the Vamo. I was worried that either my Vamo or the Protank were going to arrive broken or damaged in some way after making that long trip but no worries, everything was well packaged and in pristine shape.

The Vamo itself is much smaller than I imagined it being, which is a good thing. Don't get me wrong, in 18650 mode it IS a little long, but very manageable. I plan on ordering some 18650's soon to use in this mod for at home use, but for the time being I use it with my 18350 batteries constantly. Battery time is 6-7 hours on one 18350 battery and I am a moderate to heavy vaper.

The gunmetal/black chrome finish is gorgeous. I really like it. After two days the finish still looks great and I have not noticed any scratches which most say this finish is extremely prone to. Also, fingerprints do not seem to be as big of an issue as most claim and I have some oily skin so I thought it would be horrible.

The device is very user friendly and simple to use. 5 clicks to power up, 5 to power off. Hold both smaller buttons at once for 5 seconds or so to switch from volts to watts. Hold the right button down to check atomizer resistance, hold the left to check remaining voltage in your battery. Hold either one of those down a little longer (10-15 seconds or so) to switch between NO1 and NO2 modes. I'm not too savvy with the technical stuff but I've read you want to stick to NO2 mode. The Vamo V2 comes shipped on NO1 mode so be sure to switch modes before you start vaping.

I am extremely pleased with this mod. For $28 and some change you cannot do any better than this. Period. I'll probably be back in a month or two with my experiences and an update on how this finish holds up for a full review. Check out the links below to pick up one of these things for yourself and thanks for reading!
